Assistant Manager/ Manager Human Resources

Responsibilities:

Human Resource Operations

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, leave, and attendance.
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Handle disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.

 

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Identify hiring needs and manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Organize employee onboarding and orientation programs.

 

Performance & Development

  • Implement performance appraisal systems and KPIs.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and career growth.

 

HR Policy & Compliance

  • Develop, review, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and company handbook.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.).
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of employee matters.

 

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Organize staff engagement activities, recognition programs, and team-building events.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee feedback and welfare initiatives.
  • Build a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

 

Strategic HR Planning

  • Work with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Support organizational change and development initiatives.
  • Monitor HR KPIs and provide periodic HR reports to management.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in property development or any commercial industry exposure.
  • Proven ability to build trust with senior leadership and serve as a strategic business partner.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
