Responsibilities:
- Leading all operational and support services teams in creating and delivering a distinctive, along with exceptional customer service;
- Identifying and implementing new processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the hotel operations.
- Informing and advising management of any changes in market trends within the industry;
- Monitors competitor surveillances and measures to determine our position in the region discuss all regional sales and marketing activates.
- Ensure with concerned management that products and services are creative, innovative and of consistently high standard.
- Ensuring that all strategic requirements/direction of the group is implemented and monitored consistently.
- Constantly developing, motivating and retaining high performing teams/individuals.
- Participate in hotel industry trade associations and regional Hotel-related business events to project a positive public image and ensure awareness of trends, issues and competitive practices.
- Oversee the planning and organization of promotions and activates to increase awareness and revenue.
- Within his/her area responsibility is familiar with marketing plans, advertising activates, PR, sales, current and future room as well as F&B prices.
- Ensure that service and product standers are in place and that programs and training is in place to ensure consistent achievement of targets.
- Oversee the development, planning and implementation of all outlet themes, promotions and menus taking into consideration client profile, patterns of demand, availability of ingredients, expertise, region, competition and other factors that would influence customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or Masters in Hotel Management
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the hospitality industry in a General Manager level, preferably with strong background in F&B and Operations.
- Should have a proven track record of achievements and be an effective team player, possess good communication skills, leadership and people management skills with a high level of integrity and commitment.
- Excellent communication skills both in oral and written Bahasa Malaysia and English;
- Resourceful and possess a positive work attitude and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Have start up experience on high end hotels & residential will be essential.
