Manager/ Senior Manager Contracts

Responsibilities:

Contract Management

  • Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontract agreements, and change orders.
  • Ensure contracts accurately reflect project scope, specifications, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor and manage contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resolve contract-related disputes and claims in collaboration with claim consultants or legal counsel.

 

Budget and Cost Control

  • Work closely with project managers to track project costs against budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favourable terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and report on project financial performance to senior management.

 

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks in contracts and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Implement risk management processes to safeguard project interests.

 

Communication and Collaboration

  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to promote project success.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and other relevant departments when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, change orders, and correspondence. Ensure the proper filing and retention of contract-related documentation.

 

Supplier Performance Evaluation

  • Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance against contractual obligations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and address any issues promptly.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline
  • 7-10 Year(s) experience in contract and supply management
  • Good command of English, Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expert in drafting, negotiating, executing and managing contracts/service agreements
  • Excellent knowledge of end-to-end supply management processes including competitive bidding, contract management, supplier performance management and life-cycle costing processes.
