Job Summary:
- Leads market expansion, secures large-scale contracts, and builds strategic partnerships with developers, architects, and industry authorities.
Responsibilities:
Tender & Contract Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and secure profitable construction tenders, bids, and mega-project contracts.
Relationship Management
- Forge strong networks with property developers, main contractors, and government authorities.
Market Strategy
- Conduct market research on industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitor landscapes to drive regional growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with estimating, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure a smooth transition from winning a deal to project delivery.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tender projects and construction contracts.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities across government, GLC, corporate and private sectors.
- Ability to establish connections with local governments or relevant authorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s services and enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management or equivalent.
- At least 15-20 years working experience in relevant field.
- Has good connection with local authorities across nation.
- Experience in construction of high-rise buildings and government related projects is an added advantage with green building index exposures.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, design consultants, local governments and relevant authorities.
- General knowledge on rules and guidelines on property industry.
- Has strong management and good decision-making skills.
- Able to lead and manage the relevant teams to achieve company’s goals & objectives.
- Possess strong business acumen to manage business units to achieve projected revenue & profitability with effective cost management.
