Job Summary
- Supervise and ensure the electrical, mechanical and telecoms aspects of commercial office and retail properties related issues are performing effectively and efficiently
- Advise and become a source of reference on the technical matters related to the building and facilities
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the installation of services by contractor/consultant
- Managing the maintenance of services including supervising works performed by the appointed/contracted service providers
- Making sure that all building facilities/services meet health and safety requirements and environmental legislation
- Negotiating and managing contracts with contractors/service providers
- Liaising with panel and non-panel service providers ie electricians, plumbers, surveyors, architectural technologists and other construction professionals
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- At least 10 years working experience in managing the corporate building
- Involved in projects involving construction/installation of the building facilities ie air-conditioning system, plumbing, renovation works etc
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Strong communications skills
- Excellent people and time management
