Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards. Continuously improve operational processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Strategic Implementation
- Assist in the development and execution of business strategies and operational plans. Align departmental objectives with overall company goals to drive sustainable growth and performance.
Financial Oversight
- Manage departmental and project budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and control operational costs to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and mentor team members. Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Authority & Regulatory Engagement
- Liaise with government bodies, statutory authorities, and utilities providers to secure approvals and ensure regulatory compliance for smooth project execution.
Stakeholders Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners such as main contractors, professional consultants & etc. Act as a representative of the company in meetings, negotiations, and external engagements.
Compliance Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with legal, statutory, and company policies. Identify operational risks & quality and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular operational and financial reports for senior management. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Project Management/Property Development or equivalent.
- Extensive experience of more than 5 years in senior management or operations, with a track record of managing teams and driving results.
- Specific skills needed including supervisory and team leading skills, effective communication skills and performance management.
- Willing to travel outstation, if necessary.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Johor.
